Being a problem solver i decided to use what resources i had available to me and google echo ring blinking green.

When you talk to alexa the light ring wakes up and turns blue.

If a light bulb just went off over your head as it did ours ask alexa to play your messages and the green ring should disappear.
When the echo s ring or show s bar light up with different colors alexa is trying.
If you just want to know what it is ask alexa on your echo if you have any.
If you didn t expect a call or drop in try these things.
A slowly pulsing yellow light means that a message or notification is waiting on your device or there s a reminder you missed.

Manage your notification preferences by going to the settings in the alexa app.
How to turn off yellow ring notifications on echo.
The spinning or flashing green light means you have a shipping notification.
A solid blue ring with a cyan light pointing in your direction means that alexa is processing your query.
The red light means your microphone is currently muted.
The light ring serves as a status indicator and a notification light for all kinds of information it turns out.
Press it again and the white ring should go away.
To unmute it just press the microphone button located at the top.
Turn off communications for specific alexa devices.
Say hang up check your voice history to see if alexa misheard you and started a call or drop in.
