For this show al will have wood fired stoneware letters on display. While still hand building forms with clay he is incorporating brightly colored porcelain through a technique reminiscent of the italian use of millefiore where the artist layers thin layers of clay to create pattern. Jaeger is exploring new mediums and processes in firing. Al jaeger creates and wood fires his stoneware and porcelain sculptures for walls tables and pedestals at his studio in deerfield nh.

Al jaeger lives off the grid in deerfield where he creates his art from the pottery studio he built himself. Pieces range from colorful miniature clay tiles to imposing large scale wall collages.
